The Investigative Division is responsible for follow-up inquiries of all major crimes, such as murder, robbery, rape, burglary, and serious assaults. The Investigative Division also examines any other crimes that warrant an in-depth investigation as determined on a case by case basis.
Investigators are assigned to one or more of the following sections within the Division:
- Detective Bureau
- Prosecution Bureau
- Special Investigative Unit
- Youth Services Unit
- Sex Offender Notification Unit
- Evidence Control Unit
